Live in Murrayfield Place / Old Coltbridge area?

Sunday, 1 October 2017

The Council person is in the area next Thursday between 16:00 and 18:30 hoping to visit you-the-stakeholder about the improvements to the area that are expected to result from the cycleway project.

Here's what he says, with his contact details at the end:

Obviously residents in this area are vital stakeholders to the proposals for Murrayfield Place and the Old Coltbridge who use the area every day and I am keen to meet with them understand their needs for the space. I have put aside time next week on Thursday afternoon to visit these premises, but it would be good if I was at least able to contact some of them in advance.

Would the Community Council be able to pass on that I will be visiting the area between 16:00 and 18:30 next Thursday afternoon and will be keen to visit anyone who is happy to receive me to discuss the project. My key points will be:

• Brief overview of the proposals – focusing on the public realm improvements (though I will of course highlight the opportunity to take part in the TRO for any concerns regarding parking etc)
• Brief overview of the engagement process throughout the coming months and how to be involved
• Encourage people to attend the Community Council meeting on the 10th where there will be a more in-depth workshop
• Feedback on key issues with the space as experienced on a day to day basis

I will also be keen to establish contact details for the regular project updates.

In addition if you were able to provide me with contact details for anyone who may be happy for me to contact them in advance that would be gratefully received. Though of course, please do check with them first.

Thank you so much for your time, and I look forward to hearing back from you.
Kind regards,

Rurigdh McMeddes
