Parking permit surcharge for diesel cars?

Tuesday, 24 October 2017

Have your say.  [From City of Edinburgh Council, Planning and Transport:

" The Councillors who sit on the Transport and Environment Committee have asked us to consult with residents and businesses on a proposal to apply a surcharge on parking permits issued to owners of diesel vehicles. We have developed an online questionnaire to find out the views of people living, working or visiting Edinburgh on the proposal.

We intend to communicate this consultation by emailing: resident and business permit holders and business organisations. In addition, paper copies of the questionnaire will be available at the following libraries within the Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ): Central, McDonald Road, Stockbridge, Fountainbridge and Morningside.     As a Community Council within the CPZ we also want to hear your views on the proposals

The survey will be available on the Council’s Consultation Hub from 24 October 2017, remaining open for 3 months until 28 January 2018. You can find a copy of the survey at: https://consultationhub.edinburgh.gov.uk/sfc/parking-permit-diesel-surcharge. "
