Road closures
You can access a link for the Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) in place for the Quilter Nations Series fixtures as above, here: https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/downloads/download/13464/road-reports
Roads will be closed as necessary for periods during the advertised times to ensure public safety at the four Test matches.
Scottish Rugby work closely with a number of event delivery partners including Crexcell Traffic Management company, City of Edinburgh Council and Police Scotland to ensure any road closures are only implemented for the minimum time necessary.
Please see the advertised timings of road closures and plan ahead – roads will re-open during the games. The TTRO is published on the City of Edinburgh Council website and attached to this email.
None of the road closures impact an emergency situation being attended to – if you experience an emergency on match day and need access to a closed road (emergency only) please approach the nearest steward, traffic management official or police officer at the road closure or contact 999.
Bus Diversion
Buses will be subject to diversions in the Murrayfield area after the match. Diversion information – when available – will be published on the Lothian Buses Service Updates page: https://www.lothianbuses.com/service-updates/
Contacting Scottish Rugby on match days
As trialled during the Guinness Six Nations and concert season, our feedback form gives you a direct opportunity to contact those in the stadium's command post so that we can act if appropriate.
The feedback form will be live on matchdays from 12noon (for the final game against Tonga this will be from 11am) and you can access it here:
https://ask.scottishrugby.org/hc/en-gb/requests/new?ticket_form_id=12353436990492
The residents' hotline will also be operational on game day, three hours before kick-off and two hours after full-time. This number is 0131 346 5225.
Finally, the WhatsApp trial that was used initially for the Taylor Swift concerts in 2024, whereby those who have agreed to get notifications about closures in real time, chiefly for the A8 corridor, will once more be active on match days. Should you wish to join this notification group on WhatsApp, then you can access through this QR code, on the day of a game:
