The City of Edinburgh Council is working on its planning policy for the period 2030-2040. There is still time to have your say about policy or about specific sites. The "Call for Ideas" can be found on their consultation pages here.
You could also tell us what you think the Community Council should say about it. Based on our experience over the last 10 years, we plan to suggest:
that there should be changes to how plans for ground-based mobile phone masts are assessed
that housing plans should include plans for safe routes to local services on foot
that smaller green spaces in conservation areas should be better protected from development
that wooded areas and mature trees should be better managed no matter who owns them
